Project: Lichfield Trent Valley Four Tracking
The project is part of Network Rail’s £350 million Trent Valley Four Tracking Project (TV4) which is doubling the West Coast Main Line from two tracks to four between Tamworth, Lichfield and Armitage with Handsacre. a distance of just over 12 miles. The work will result in two high speed lines alongside two separate lines for local and freight services.
The works will include the widening of embankments and cuttings, installation of new drainage, modification and installation of electrification and signalling equipment, replacement of public road bridges and footbridges and the installation of the new tracks. Main works should be completed in summer 2008.

One-On Scope
Working closely with Buckingham’s and Network Rail to achieve target deadlines, we will install approximately 15km of new concrete and elevated GRC troughing into the down cess to facilitate the extra cabling required to power new signaling and telecoms within the area.
Provision of full time on site project manager, safety critical staff, skilled labour workforce, transport, welfare facilities, machinery including RRV’s and strict adherence to all health, safety and environmental requirements backed up by Mr D.Burgess CMIOSH One On’s HSE assurance manager.
