An innovative project undertaken by One-On’s highly skilled labour force. One-On were selected by Network Rail to trial a new form of C19 trough and lid designed and manufactured with plastic polymer. 400metres of trough route installation was videoed and assessed alongside usual concrete troughing installation in order to evaluate possible cost savings on installations due to the reduced weight, and durability of the trough and lid.

The Tro-Trof trial ran at two different locations in the South West of England providing different environmental conditions, enabling the performance of the Tro-trof trial to be considered at the various locations.
