Two Years Since RIDDOR Reportable Accident

< News Index

As of the 17th November 2011, One-On have achieved 24 months without a RIDDOR reportable accident, accumulating over 200,000 safe-working hours in the process.

Director John Reidy commented: "Keeping the One-On workforce safe is our number one priority and this remarkable achievement is down to our robust processes, the excellent safety culture embedded throughout the whole team and the awareness and dedication of each and every member of staff involved.  Whilst we see this as a significant achievement, we also recognise that there is no room for any complacency in regards to health and safety.  At One-On we know that people readily recall the last incident, without always acknowledging the effort that goes into an achievement such as this.  Therefore we are only as good as our last accident which means we have to continue to be extremely vigilant, reporting any ‘near misses' and approaching all aspects of health and safety with a procedural and common sense approach".
