Project: East Kent Resignalling

One On have been awarded the contract to carry out the entire route works on the East Kent Resignalling Project. The EKR Project involves the complete renewal of all signaling assets on the Chatham main line running between Sittingbourne to Minster East Junction on the VIR lines and Faversham through to Buckland Junction on the FDM lines. The new system to be implemented is a like for like modern equivalent form signaling system.

One-On’s scope of works includes, but is not limited to the following:
Cable Route works, including both refurbishment and new installation, cable route joint bays, Installation of ballast boards, cable Installation and the installation of GRP troughing.
